Remember we have a minimum day on Monday and Tuesday. Back to School Night is Tuesday!

Monday, Aug. 31
1. Read Chapter 1, Section 1 & 2
2. As a class, answer Section 1 & 2 Questions

Tuesday, Sept. 1
1. Read Chapter 1, Section 3 & 4
2. As a class, answer Section 3 & 4 Questions
3. Turn in Chapter 1 Questions
4. Remember, Back to School night is tonight.
5. Remember, picture day is tomorrow.

Wednesday, Sept. 2
1. Quickwrite
-What was Roanoke?
-What do you think caused the American Revolution?

2. Define and explain the significance of each Key Term in Chapter 2, Section 1.

3. Today is picture day!

Reminder....Bring I.D. Cards tomorrow...We will be getting our books.

Thursday, September 3
1. Get books from the library

2. Put your first and last name inside the book...IN INK

3. Continue to work on Chapter 2, Section 1 Vocabulary

Friday, September 4
1. Art activity
-On a blank sheet of paper, choose four (4) key terms from Section 1.
-For each key term
a. Write the key term
b. The definition
c. Why it is important
d. Draw a picture of what the key term looks like to you
e. Color it!

This will be Due Tuesday, September 8...Along with the Key terms list from early in the week.

WEEK 1 - Thursday Aug. 27- Friday Aug. 28

We will be doing a map activity on Thursday and Friday.

You will be given a blank map of the United States. You will be required to label all 50 states, major cities, and major bodies of water. Each state must be independently colored. This assignment will be due on Monday, August 31.

Remember to bring I.D. Cards next Thursday, September 3rd. It will make checking out books much faster!!!!
