Wednesday, September 30:

1. Forming a government activity

• You will be looking at 4 different types of government. For each government, you will list 2 advantages and 2 disadvantages for each. You will then rank the government 1-4, 1 being the best and 4 being the worst.

Reminder: Make-up and retake Chapter 3 tests will be held tomorrow, October 1, during lunch in room 25.

Thursday, October 1:

1. Articles of Confederation Worksheet

• We will read, discuss, and complete a worksheet about the Articles of Confederation. This worksheet will explore the first national government of the United States and why it did not work!

2. Make up Chapter 3 Test today during lunch in Room 25

2. Writing Activity

• Write a 1-page Declaration of Independence stating to the mayor of Roseville why Buljan Middle School should break away from the city. Include at least 3 different reasons why Buljan should be independent from the city. Think about what you don't like about Roseville. What doesn't it have? What does it have too much of? What would a perfect city have? Be creative...Have fun!!!!!! DUE THURSDAY

1. American Revolution Newspaper Activity

• You will create a newspaper containing 2 pictures and 2 articles. The two articles will discuss specific events, people, and/or battles that we have discussed in Chapter 3 so far. Pretend you are actually reporting during the Revolution. Each picture will be related to your articles. Be Creative!!!

2. Homework: Organize your binders. I will be doing binder check next week!!!!!!!!!
